Energisation and Re-Energisation Timeframes
If your premises already has an existing connection, we will ask your distributor to energise the premises and put your customer connection in place as soon as practicable after your contract with us is formed, subject to applicable laws and regulations.
Re-energisation after disconnection
We must arrange for the reconnection of your premises if, within 10 business days of your premises being disconnected:
- you ask us to arrange for reconnection of your premises; and
- you rectify the matter that led to the disconnection; and
- you pay any reconnection charge (if it applies to you)
If you don't meet these requirements, we may terminate your contract 10 business days after disconnection.
If your premises has a remotely read meter, we may be able to arrange reconnection remotely rather than through a site visit.
